What is AUSFence

AUSFence is a modified, games based fencing program for Primary school ages students. This introductory program combines fun and Physical activity for children while learning about one of the original sports of the modern Olympics!

Each lesson involves the participants learning various terminology and skills specific to fencing through integrated game play. The program is designed to provide children of all abilities the opportunity to have a successful first experience of Fencing in the club or school environment.

Getting started with AUSFence is easy – you don’t need any experience or any equipment. Just follow three easy steps and you will be on your way to becoming a Fencing Master!

The Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) is the national governing body for the sport of fencing in Australia. The AFF provides leadership and support to its member States/Territories in the promotion and development of the sport through national consistency and congruence in plans and programs.
