Being an AusFence Coach

AusFence Coaches are there to introduce kids to the sport of Fencing with gentle encouragement. It is all about fun, even for you, so our coaches are encouraged to create opportunities for kids to enjoy both structured and free-play. The focus is on improvement rather than “winning” and all kids should receive equal time and attention.

The Australian Fencing Federation (AFF) is the national governing body for the sport of fencing in Australia. The AFF provides leadership and support to its member States/Territories in the promotion and development of the sport through national consistency and congruence in plans and programs.
